Dreamy vocals and a finger picked guitar introduce a meditative and peaceful track “Sacred Heart” by Tomo. The melody and harmony create a sense of nostalgia and melancholy that makes it unsurprising this is the final track from Tomos debut EP Wayward Son. This is the bands first release of this length and while it’s racking up modest indie streams you should definitely be on the lookout for more from this great new artist! See Soundcloud and Spotify as well as artist bio below!
ARTIST BIO
Tomo is an indie/folk singer-songwriter, based in Bristol, UK. Taking inspiration from a wide range of influences, including Radical Face, Shane Macgowan, Leonard Cohen and Charles Bukowski, among others, he is currently working on his debut EP, ‘Wayward Son’, due for release later this year. One of his tracks from this, ‘Enough to Drink’, was recently played on BBC Somerset. Lyrical content is particularly important to Tomo, and he combines powerful, literary lyricism with emotive musicality to produce an act which has been described as “very engaging and atmospheric” by Gerard Langley of The Blue Aeroplanes. Having already performed at notable Bristol venues including The Fleece, 2020 is set to be an exciting year for Tomo.
