Chill affected drums are joined by synthesizers and electric pianos to support the relaxed male lead vocal. The production fleshes out into what could be described as a chill-hop meets pop rock that features lush harmony maybe found in a Queen track. Around 1:45 the group drops back to re-crescendo into the chorus “and when it feels right” as the vocals sooth into the outro. Los Angeles indie pop band Sure Sure today announced their new What’s It Like? EP – coming this May – and released 1st single “Warm Animal” – the band’s first love song to date.
The track follows previously embraced singles “Idiot” and “Lie Lie Lie” which was featured as KCRW’s Today’s Top Tune with airplay on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic and Sirius XM Alt Nation’sAdvanced Placement Show. The group is also gearing up to support Young the Giant on their national tour kicking off later this month.
