“Don’t Go Stay Home” Stephen Chopek has a driving beat with an infectious but dreamy vocal performance that is compelling and pushes the listener forward through the song. Layered in nicely are some great synthesizers that really support the style and give it a unique blend of rock and synthpop. This multi-instrumentalist is a master at creating great power pop gems and this is another great song by Stephen Chopek. Pairs nicely with bands like Heavens to Murgatroid and Ryan Melone.
Artist Biography
Stephen Chopek is a musician living and working in Atlanta, GA. Prior to releasing his first solo album in 2012, he spent over 10 years drumming on tour and in the studio with Charlie Hunter, John Mayer, and Jesse Malin among many others. Stephen plays all the instruments on “No One Just Us”. Stephen’s music is reminiscent and been compared to of some of the most iconic songwriters like Matthew Sweet, Ben Kweller, Bobby Bare Jr., Paul Westerberg, Tommy Keene, and Evan Dando. Stephen’s DwellerEP from 2021 showcased his strongest and most varied songwriting skills with accolades coming from global tastemakers as an artist to watch.
