Polished yet lo-fi muffled guitars introduce “Animal” by Xavier Valdez. The vocals have a familiar timbre that makes the more artistic whispered spots more digestible. To me this falls somewhere between the Miike Snow track and something by Aaron Taos but a little bit more experimental than both counterparts. “Animal” is the second single by Xavier Valdez and has a lot to live up to following the well received debut “Bear”.
