The introductory vocal line drew me in and the soft timbre of the lead vocalist kept me around as the indie folk styled strumming and four on the floor percussion builds and blossoms into a lovely introspective and philosophical piece. Dripping with emotion the chorus is lamenting for a time with a lost lover. “I Should’ve Fought For You” (darling) is a heartbroken piece that reminds me of driving in the rain after suffering youthful heartbreak which makes the album artwork even more fitting. This piece is focused on a certain emotion and it captures it magically. Stream “I Should Have Fought For You” by The Satellite Station below!
