A combination of modulation and other electronic elements come together what is mostly a raw sounding alternative rock track. Dreamy and atmospheric but also dark in nature is “On Her Own” by Monks In The Wood. Lyrically the song follows a character through an introspective and lonely journey. What drew me in was the interesting approach to the lead vocal in a gang production style and all the modal interchange used to make an especially mysterious sound.
