The Bootstrap Boys’ “Even Though” was an outlaw country track with a family narrative. The production was right on the money with a mid-heavy filtered vocal and a very bright master. “Even Though” is a very sentimental track coupled with some ripping guitar lines. If you’re down at the bar daytime drinking missing family “Even Though” should be the soundtrack, although maybe you’ll be drinking tonic water because it’d fit the record title “Hungry & Sober” better.
