Mise en Scene “Reality Bites” is a great coming of age indie rock track with a reality check of a music video where you can see the lead singer doing laundry and hanging out in a small town. However, the vibe is still summery and uplifting despite the lyrical concepts of worrying of falling short of your dreams and life getting in the way, hence “Reality Bites”. Reality really does kick you around but this song will make you feel better. For me this listens really well next to Best Coast for first time listeners!
