Nathaniel Paul “Turpentine” is a very modern production that features a lush harmonic textures made more prominent with rhythmic stabs every couple of beats. The soft vocals take a backseat to the octave guitar melodies which I think is a really pleasing style. Nathaniel Paul has been covered many times in many groups on the blog and I think personally “Turpentine” is a new high in terms of production and songwriting as well as overall commercial viability.
