Capital Sons “Rains Came” is a song that belongs on MTV in the 90s. The production is organic but incredibly tight for how raw and performed the instruments are. The epic vocals and introspective lyrics about hard times make this seem like it’s a bonus track on Pearl Jams “Ten”. Capital Sons is one of the better bands keeping rock and roll alive. This band gets better and better with time. I think this might be new top fave finally topping “Pollyanna”. Karl Obermeyer always has very compelling performances, definitely check out the music video and show them some love.
