The Joy Formidable “Chimes” is a dark grunge or hard rock track shot in a barn with the lead vocalist rocking out to “Chimes” in a few outfits. What really drew me in to “Chimes” was the wall of guitars and the driving rhythms that accompanied a haunting vocal performance.
