Said The Whale “Honey Lungs” is a guitar forward rock track with a positive message delivered aggressively. I’ve been a big fan of Said The Whale for a while and own their latest release Cascadia on vinyl. I’m excited to hear that they’re working on new material, once the borders are open again a dream of mine would be to sip some craft beer and dancing around at a festival to some rad Vancouver rock and roll. The bridge in “Honey Lungs” gets existential and swells dynamically and melodically which seems par for the chorus if you’re a fan of the artist.
