Bluesy and groovy, “California High” by Grizfolk, is like if the Black Keys met up with the Beach Boys to write a song that was produced by the Arctic Monkeys. Overall it fits in so nicely on any alt rock playlists and the instrumentation choices to differentiate between sections was definitely a highlight in the arrangement. The vocalist has a pleasant timbre and the guitarists part is nice and wanders between melodic and harmonic with lovely embellishments.
