What really drew me in initially to “Hey Carla” by the Suns was the backing vocal arrangement which supports a hopelessly romantic narrative. The instrumentation is a familiar pop rock wall of guitars that to the right audience will hit them right in the feels in their nostalgic rock gland. Towards the end the vocalist starts to sound a bit like Kurt Cobain but we won’t hold it against him. Check out “Hey Carla” by the Suns below!
