Vocal hooks galore with Pawls “Small Town”. The harmony has a cool journey between the verses which seems more ascending and chorus which descends. The vocalists timbre reminds me of a few bands I used to follow in Portsmouth in the nineties that were shortlisted for deals with majors but then forgotten after EMI went with Green Day and not Heavens to Murgatroid. It’s a really cool documentary called In Danger of Being Discovered . I love Pawls aesthetic and the sonic qualities of “Small Town”, check it out below!
