“The Witches Made Me Do It” is a brooding and intense track from Ryan Cassatas new record out end of last week. It’s a song about falling in love during a time of political unrest and adversity. The song strongly pulls on hip-hop influence to the point where it’s a pretty solid departure in terms of song structure but not so much in lyrical content and subject matter. A heartfelt song with lots of hooks to keep a listener engaged throughout. Maybe not the escape some of us are craving currently but definitely a really good listen throughout.
