Mae Krell “Garden”

Bluesy and chill acoustic guitar and electric piano introduce a vocal performance by Mae Krell so fine that you worry if any more aggressive dynamics were introduced the voice might shatter. The lyrics are unclear as to whether the garden is a metaphor for growing up or whether Mae Krell really just wants to get into botany. It’s a really sweet track that pleads with growing up to be painless while displaying emotions such as yearning and hurt. It’s a well thought out composition and definitely something worth checking out while stuck at home!
