Foreign Fields “Terrible Times”

Ambience as a thin and breathy vocal take opens “Terrible Times” by Foreign Fields. Joined by a glitchy and groovy organic sounding drum groove while arpeggios circle and other hooks panned join in as the song meditates through thoughts. “Terrible Times” is a highly enjoyable track that is so relevant right now it’s scary. Give it a listen below!

BAND BIO

Don’t Give Up was the first release from the record, the third album from the indie folk duo. It’s the follow up to 2016’s acclaimed ‘Take Cover’ and their 2012 debut ‘Anywhere But Where I Am’. It received plays from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Phil Taggart plus playlisted on L.A based tastemaker station KCRW. They also shot a live video which you can view here, showing them both performing an acoustic version of the single from the warmth of one of the pair’s houses in Madison, WI.
