“Proof Of Life feat. Buck Meek” by Jung Shackleton

A sweet and intimate vocal performance accompanied by a folksy indie production. It’s lovely and soaked in reverb like its reflecting off the moon. A lush arrangement and honest approach to lyricism creates a cinematic experience for “Proof Of Life feat. Buck Meek” by Jung Shackleton. It’s a sweet tune to dig during the second snowfall of the year in NYC. Check it out below!

ARTIST BIO

The brainchild of singer-songwriter Miguel de Bragança, Jung Shackleton formed in 2019 to explore the musical spaces that exist between the American Folk Song, contemporary beats and electro-acoustic textures. Currently based between NYC and Paris, the act is structured as a collective whose performances range from solo and duo sets to larger ensembles depending on venue.

The core of Jung Shackleton is augmented by producer-songwriter Miguel Horowitz. The creative partnership of The Miguels was formed during college days in Boston, during which time their band Baby Brainwaves shared the stage with acts such as Willy Mason, Ava Luna, Quilt, Prince Rama and Beach Fossils.

In addition to his musical practice, Miguel de Bragança discovered entrepreneurship after co-founding the award-winning YES OUI SI art gallery and venue. During this time he promoted artists including Nick Hakim, Adrianne Lenker (Big Thief), Guerrilla Toss, and Simon Hayes (Tradicci Bacci). His passion for activating projects led him into the tech, tourism, and crypto spaces, all of which inform his songwriting and performances.

Jung Shackleton’s debut EPs “Breakup” and “Startup” are scheduled for release in Q1 2020 on Elephant Island Records. It was recorded and co-produced by Oliver Ignatius (Ezra Miller, Arsun) at Holy Fang Studios in Hopewell Junction, NY. Artistic contributors include Jacquelyn West, Buck Meek, Sebastian Bäverstem, Miguel Horowitz, Justin Renfrow and many more.
