ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Introducing MCAULEY, the alter-ego of songwriter and actress Lanie McAuley. The Vancouver-Canada native finds her signature sound on debut single ANIMAL (out 09/19/2019), an anthem for losing your mind steeped to the brim with rumbling melodies over raw guitars and lush synths. MCAULEY’s debut EP features collaborations with Lorenzo Sarti (Zara Larsson), Robyn Dell’Unto (LU KALA), Allen Blickle (Baroness) and more. A proper introduction to a likely familiar face, her first collection of original material marries the cutting weight of Bishop Briggs and K. Flay with the textured vulnerability of Julia Michaels.

When she is not recording and performing as MCAULEY, Lanie McAuley is busy acting; recent work includes a role in Netflix movie How It Ends starring Forest Whitaker, a recurring role on Hallmark’s Chesapeake Shores opposite Jesse Metcalfe and a supporting lead in the upcoming holiday flick Write Before Christmas starring Chad Michael Murray.
