A familiar indie rock track arrangement and a pacing that is uplifting and upbeat. Lyrically about a break up but from a stand point of mutual agreement and more focused on the new beginnings than the heartache. What drew me into “Don’t Feel Like That” was the creative choices of layering in percussive elements and the way the textures were introduced and exited to differentiate between sections and give each one of them a unique emotional quality. “Don’t Feel Like That” has got me feeling light as air and my hearts aflutter.
