Drum sticks click on the rims of the drums creating a groovy rhythm that isn’t so straightforward when they dance around the two and four with their accents. In playlists this sits right between Vampire Weekends first records hits and Two Door Cinema Clubs breakthrough “What You Know”. The guitar tones are shrill and clean and the drums are pumping with compression. This could also be a new favorite if you dig Say Anything …Is A Real Boy. Check out “Trend” below, lyrically “Trend” takes a stance against trends and being normal but then falls in love with a girl by the end. Lanterns puts out a solid creative track with “Trend”
