Formed by American Idol contestant Harrison Cohen, Z by Z is serving up Philadelphia-born rock music with an aggressive latin twist via their new single, “No Time.” Featuring chord progressions that sound straight out of Latin music, this tale of heartbreak leaves no time to feel down on yourself. Cohen’s commanding vocals deliver catchy melodies and confident harmonies that show you how this guy made it on TV in the first place. The double-time drums and guitar rhythms will have you nodding your head to the beat, and the chorus’s half-time aggression will make you wish you were hearing this live so you can throw down. There isn’t a whole lot that needs to be said about a song like this one. Everyone is playing their part with skill and finesse, and this tune is a damn good time that’ll make you wish Z by Z was playing your town tonight.
