Friday Project “PICK ME UP (WHEN I FALL)” instantly reminds me of “Fall Back Down” by Rancid but with a slower swagger than a rapid aggression. The thing that instantly draws me in about this is the way the vocalist slides controlled between notes in the melody during the chorus. This is straight ahead power chords and emotion. It’s honest storytelling about friendship and going through shit with your friends. Big Friday emotions and good vibes with this one!
