Elly Kace “What would be enough” an honest and beautiful look inward

Elly Kace “What would be enough” is a song inspired by when a relationship is just simply not working. This Brooklyn based songstress weaves gorgeous and organic textures together to support her narrative. What drew me in was the mysterious arpeggios that tiptoe around on a carpet of pad synths while Elly performs in an operatic style. The large whole note chords lead us into the chorus as “What would be enough” swells and falls in an almost familiar arrangement but with the extensions on the melody into baroque territory “What would be enough” is anything but usual. The phrase entertainment meets me where I am and art elevates my existence applies here, thanks for the great piece of art Elly Kace.

Somehow a wall got built only your arms could reach through Now there are white knuckles tight on my wrists And just dirty bricks for my soul to sing to. What would be enough is an honest serenade for when a relationship is simply not working in it’s current iteration for the liberation of both parties. #mooncycles #loststar #soundmedicine #theseventhgate #ellykace #whatwouldbeenough #fullmooninaries #whiteknuckle
