“Your Town” by Jon Parks a fever dream indie rock masterpiece

“Your Town” by Jon Parks is a beautiful track that chugs along with some great garage rock organic production and synthesizers that have the slightest modulation on it that give it an autumnal flair that I found enchanting. The organic sounding of the drums is a breath of fresh air in a sea of midi drums and the way the acoustic guitar enters as a percussive element in the second verse I thought was a nice way to differentiate between the two sections. Lyrically I’ve always connected with music about being a bit of an outcast. “Your Town” is a really stellar track with great production and part writing that is just enough not mainstream to be exciting but not so indie it’s inaccessible, really nicely done here Jon Parks!
