“hell no!” is vintage rock and roll with denim and slapback vocals, and psychedelic goodness and most importantly general badassery and not giving a fuck what other people think. This is one of those coming of age scenes in a movie where some iconoclastic high schooler is smoking cigarettes and having a bad attitude and smashing mailboxes or something. It’s a song to take a shot to. You get my point. It’s also a really solid musical production and video which is why it so quickly fits into an aesthetic for me. If you’re looking to blow off steam, this is your new anthem.
