Marni “Washed Up” is a song about doubting yourself. What drew me in was the chord voicing on the guitar sound really fun. The vocals are performed and produced in a beautiful shoegaze emo way that is enchanting and melancholic. It’s a sort of misery enjoys company performance that hits heavy. Marni features both female and male lead vocals which I think more bands need to experiment with. Dope fall grunge track giving a bit of Title Fight, Cute is What We Aim For, Smashing Pumpkins and maybe something a bit darker too. This is sick, I hope they keep coming out with songs like this.
