Dylan Kight “Worst of Me” is a beautiful heartland rock track with introspective lyrics and a familiar guitar, bass and drums backing him up. The chorus picks up with a four on the floor and syncopated turnaround that really supports the melody. “Worst of Me” is a comfort song for a long drive. It reminds me of what I imagine people think of when they think of “America in the good old days”. It’s a beautiful nostalgic midwestern heartland vibe that I find so enchanting.
