The Corrupted Hearts “Broken Slinky” is an intense track that reminds me of great artists such as The Pixies or the Toadies. It’s a beautiful dark with lots of grunge influence about a dead girlfriend who haunts you through possession of your slinky, and while the slinky choice might seem a bit childish the track is so rocking it actually works. Columbus OH rockers really have a great track here and the ominous cover art works with the theme. It makes sense that the Corrupted Hearts would sing dark songs about possession, if you’re into perpetual halloween like I am check this one out!
