Sorry, Peach “why are you so scared?” starts off with chords that are familiar and similar to David Bowies “Ground Control to Major Tom” but with far more introspective lyrics and soft pads that feel more like a diary entry from a coming of age story than an astronaut. The lush vocal harmonies fill the sonic landscape and soothe the listener into a relaxed state as Sorry, Peach continues to lament until the track opens out into something more akin to Explosions in the Sky sounding with crashing drums and walls of distorted guitar. An interesting bridge between bedroom folk-pop and shoegaze you should check out Sorry, Peach “why are you so scared?” below.
