“Old World” is from a collection of songs by the band First Day of Spring which focuses mainly on the things they took for granted from the before covid days. What drew me in initially was the well done production and mix of the lofty sounding, skipping-esque beat with it’s reflective guitars and 80s synth creating an atmosphere for the singer to lament and croon about their own introspective thoughts.
