Burgeoning Dutch alt-rockers GUNMOLL bring an edgy mysterious track called “L.O.V.E.”. The vintage production vibe is enchanting and the staccato guitar harmonies are wonderful counterpoint to a vocal that starts as coy and then around the halfway mark starts hitting harder. The “la la la” motif with those harmonies is an infectious ear worm. I get some 007 vibes from a track like this, big fan of how sexy the track “L.O.V.E.” is. To my ear this fits well next to artists like Alice Merton or Santigold.
