Sarah Morgan Unleashes “Black Velvet” brings us back to the 2000s pop punk golden age!
Sarah Morgan is back with her seventh release, Black Velvet, a track that fuses alt-rock, punk, and indie pop into a high-energy anthem of resilience. With electrifying guitar riffs, pulsing percussion, and emotionally charged lyrics, Black Velvet embodies the perfect balance of raw emotion and sonic intensity.
Drawing inspiration from powerhouse femme pop-punk acts like Paramore, Warpaint, and Daisy Grenade, as well as the indie and alt-rock stylings of The Strokes and Radiohead, Morgan has a song that is both personal and relatable. For me this track was reminiscent of pop-punk Warped Tour summers, especially present in the vocal production. Great productiona and looking forward to hearing more from Sarah!
