Memory Land “EARLY MIDLIFE COMPROMISE” is a gorgeous track that laments the loss of a friend to, what I can only assume, is a controlling significant other. What drew me in before I knew what the song was about was the vocalists performance, he’s got such a dry and fried tone that reminds me of Julian Casablanca. The relaxed and reflective pacing coupled with a lush instrumentation makes for a brilliant piece.
