The Bottoms “Running In Mud” is a fuzzy grunge-y track that directly references bands like Weezer and the Mama and Poppas. What really drew me into “Running in Mud” was the heavy guitar tones and well produced instrumental that supports a vocal that is aesthetically alternative and indie and something that really reminds me of the Halloween time of year, maybe because of the “all the leaves are brown” and I associate heavier alt-music this time of year.
