adan diaz “shake, shake” is pure indie pop adrenaline. With recent support slots on the Good Kid North American tour, a debut appearance at Lollapalooza, and his first headline tour this Fall, Diaz is poised to shake up the indie scene as a fresh, authentic voice coming into his own. I’m really enthralled with the barely audible guitar riffage; these tones have so much EQ filtered out that it’s really a vintage indie vibe, and the way the drums rise and fall in terms of sonic space they take up is a really cool trick to keep the listener involved. “shake, shake” is a quick espresso sized track but it definitely delivers. Very excited for what’s to come for this artist!
