Belle Shea’s “Leah” is a break-up track that remains defiant to a boy-in-the-band who broke her heart. The defiance is palpable in the lines about “how could they think I’d want to go?” to a show they played after you’d cut ties. Heartbreak sucks but when you dress it up in pretty indie rock music it hurts a lot less. Check out “Leah” below! Some woozy melodic theramin playing is really cool, would love to see that live.
