Amongst Liars “By Design” is an intense track that fuses metal and alternative rock in a pop-sensible way reminiscent of bands like Evanescence or Falling in Reverse. What really drew me in was how well-produced and mixed the track was and also how much raw and intense emotion the vocals captured.
