Hello Sister “17” is a perfect pop-rock song. Everything from the minor four turnaround during the chorus and the desperation behind the vocal performance perfectly matches the lyrics. The drums and guitars and the build-up before the chorus is just pure magic. If you’ve been wondering whatever happened to the perfect 3-minute pop song, congratulations, you’ve rediscovered it with Hello Sister’s “17”. Great band name too, easy to remember and would look great on a festival flyer. This is my first time hearing this band but I’ve gotta do a deeper dive.
