At this point, A Days Wait has an incredibly refined and distinct sound and I can always tell it’s this band by the slightly nasally vocal timbre and the mellow yet driving energy of the instrumental plus the lyrical themes are consistently about searching and finding and exploration. A Days Wait has a time-passing feeling that I could attribute to being in transit. A Days Wait is perfect for commuter music.
