Trevor Gordon Hall’s “Presence Not Perfection” is a sweet and soothing solo guitar piece. Trevor’s idea here is to pick up a different guitar and knock out a song in an hour and really capture the moment of raw creativity through solo performance. “Presence Not Perfection” as a title captures his artistic journey as he cast away impossible standards for purer emotional playing. I love hearing an artists sound evolve to meet a sense of self-knowledge and it’s what you get with this whimsical new piece by Trevor Gordon Hall.
