Dave Cherub “Superstar” is a very relaxed and reflective indie track with vintage tones and atmospheric textures that are pleasant and soothing. The left-of-center and cute lyrics describe “holes” in the singer and from a record called “Climate Songs (For Lovers)” I was surprised that there wasn’t a line about there being a hole in the ozone. The line “took it too far superstar” repeats in a melancholic and breathy way that is hazy and hip. Give Dave Cherub “Superstar” some love below!
