Artist Quote “Written during lockdown, ‘Born To Love You’ rings true to the longing felt by soulmates parted by time and events. It’s a chilled, acoustic ode to the heartbreak felt by separated lovers—a tale of whiskey, rye, and romance.” This organic track is upbeat instrumentally but lyrically despondent. The dichotomy between the music and the vocals is familiar and always a good take. The harmonica leads give the track a vintage Dylan vibe that is enchanting. “Born to Love You” is a great send-off into the last month of summer when summer flings may start to be winding down. DD Allen really crafts a gorgeous song that walks the line between organic indie rock and indie folk.
