Scoobert Doobert’s “TOO HOT” is a funky track that features a hard-hitting four-on-the-floor beat accompanied by sexy syncopated guitars and a phat bassline. Clearly intended to be a summer bop while also maintaining some level of social commentary about the planet being on fire. It’s hard to feel any sort of existential dread while listening to something so funky and well-produced. Big ups to Scoobert Doobert on this new track. Those chromatic bassline fills at the end help the piece culminate nicely!
