The Polyphonic Spree “Get Down to the Soul” is an out of body experience yet introspective listen. Using beautiful lush psychedelic layers that catch the listener in a way that for me was comparable to hearing Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots for the first time. Tim DeLaughter is an artistic powerhouse with a great story and a blue man in Texas at that. If you’re looking for the best artists to support consider listening to the Polyphonic Spree.
